# Vertical profiles file

The vertical profiles file is the file that contains all the information of the vertical profile to use.

| _ID_ | ID of the vertical profile that appears in the [emission inventory selection file](examples_cross_table.md) in the _p_vertical_ column.|

| _layers_ | List of top levels to distribute the emission on the vertical layers, separated by commas. |
|
|
|
| _weights_ | Weight for each distributed emission. This parameter must have the same lenght than the _layers_ parameter. | |
