Update 'prob_thresholds' documentation and checks in R/RPSS.R

Merged abatalla requested to merge dev-RPSS_prob_thresholds into master

This MR addresses issue #128 (closed). Changes in RPSS.R:

  • Expanded the description of the prob_thresholds parameter to describe when and how it is used.
  • Conditioned sanity check to only validate prob_thresholds when it is actually used in the function.
