Loading module: Investigate behavior of circular sort

Task: To review the loading module and verify whether data is loaded in complete chunks and in the expected range when the selection crosses the Date Line or the Greenwich meridian.

In general there seem to be no problems when the Date Line is crossedr regardless of convention, but when [0, 360] is used, the data is separated into two chunks when it crosses the Greenwich meridian (see comments).
