DEFAULT_OUTPUT_DIR changed to DEFAULT_STATS_OUTPUT_DIR in basic configuration.... 

DEFAULT_OUTPUT_DIR changed to DEFAULT_STATS_OUTPUT_DIR in basic configuration. Stats files that can't be written in the experiment directory are now saved into the DEFAULT_OUTPUT_DIR path. Related to #555
