- In order to generate the COMPLETED files uniquely along with monitoring information the autosubmit.conf has been updated with AS-HEADER and AS-TRAILER kind of parameterizations for local and remote jobs separately.

- rebuild tool updated from rebuild_nemo-r3309 to rebuild_nemo-ece3
- upgraded cdftools from version 2.1 to 3.0 (essential for ecearht3-spin templates)
- in connection to ecearth3 apart from sim type of jobs (for other kind of templates like ini, post, clean and a few pre-sim steps) the tools like netcdf, hdfd5 and szip would be used as with which model has been compiled
- while cdo and nco versions would have been chosen on the base of what has been made available at each platform by support team either under modular environment or without that.

Autosubmit 2.3: Runtime update of variables. Fixed template branch default. WARNING: Autosubmit 2.3 backwards compatibilty with old experiments is not possible. Experiments created with version 2.2 or before should run with older versions of Autosubmit.

- At Ithaca the OpenMPI has been switched with the latest IntelMPI (impi) and there will be 20-25% gain in speed of running simulations with ecearth and nemo...

- wallclock option introduced for jobs going to be submitted at Ithaca...

Autosubmit 2.3: Setup and transfer jobs choices removed. Got rid of symlinks for template creation strategy. INIT short extension change to INI. Remove chunk number from ini jobs. WARNING: Autosubmit 2.3 backwards compatibilty with old experiments is not possible. Experiments created with version 2.2 or before should run with older versions of Autosubmit.
