stopping autosubmit (with ctrl-c) puts job in the FAILED state, even though it is running

using autosubmit/3.12.0b-foss-2015a-Python-2.7.9

when I stop autosubmit using ctrl-c the running jobs are put in a FAILED state, even though the job is running. When I resume autosubmit, everything is fine/
