Analysis of Wrappers

Hello team,

@dbeltran @mcastril

As mentioned in our previous meeting, we will have this issue as a way to document the wrapping process, its dependencies, classes involved, functions, etc. The main purpose of this thread is to serve as a reference for the future.

Let's begin with a list of tasks:

  • Identify main classes (in Autosubmit source code) involved in the wrapping process.
  • Find all available documentation and include the references in this issue.
  • Write a draft outline of the wrapping workflow.
  • Identify the types of wrappers and their available options and behavior.
  • Update Autosubmit documentation with all the new findings.

Finally, we have some tasks that are a consequence of the previous process:

  • Include wrappers in the Graph visualization of the experiment in Autosubmit GUI.
  • Include wrappers in the Tree View visualization of the experiment in Autosubmit GUI.

If you have any related information, apart from what is currently included in Autosubmit documentation, please share it here.
